Pupil Premium

At Hopewell School, we are committed to ensuring that every pupil has access to the support they need to thrive. Pupil Premium funding plays a role in helping us provide additional resources and interventions for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

About Pupil Premium

Introduced in April 2011, Pupil Premium is additional government funding allocated to schools to support children who:

The goal of this funding is to help bridge the gap between pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and their peers by providing extra support and resources.

How We Use Pupil Premium

Hopewell School specialises in educational and therapeutic interventions for students with complex needs.

While Pupil Premium is a small percentage of the overall cost of a placement, we use these funds to enhance our tailored support, ensuring that every child receives the help they need to succeed.

These interventions are carefully planned in collaboration with Local Authorities, school staff, and student feedback gathered through annual reviews and Personal Education Plan (PEP) meetings.

Making a Difference

Every student at Hopewell School deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.

By using Pupil Premium funding effectively, we ensure that disadvantaged students receive the right support at the right time, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
